Diabetes Education Starts May 1 at Health First in Providence
ROVIDENCE, Ky. (3/31/18) — Health First Community Center is offering free diabetes education beginning May 1 at Health First, 121 E. Main St. in Providence.
Classes are 3-5 p.m. May 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29. Topics covered will include symptoms, risk factors, diet management, living an active lifesyle and preventing complications of diabetes.
The series of six interactive sessions offers hands-on visual activities covering multiple topics. Participants will receive certificates of completion and a free gift.
