Iran to host Europe Diabetes Association

TEHRAN, Feb. 05 (MNA) – Europe Association for the Study of Diabetes will be held in Iran for the first time in Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.

Europe Association for the Study of Diabetes, which is going to be held in Research Institute for Endocrine Sciences in Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, will be attended by leading European professors on February 20-23.
Europe Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) is an annual scientific meeting which holds diabetes training courses in one or more countries in the world and in 2015, the scientific program will be held in Iran for the first time.
The training courses will be arranged in cooperation with the Iranian Diabetes Society and the Iranian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Research Institute for Endocrine Sciences in Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.
The key issues in the related fields will be presented by prominent professors from Iran and several European countries in the form of lectures and workshops.
The topics presented in this course include the epidemiology, pathogenesis, traditional and new treatment methods, acute and chronic complications, issues related to nutrition and diabetes in Ramadan.
