About Claire your Manager

Hello my nane is Claire aka Claireonwheels78, I'm in my 30's & live in the UK. I do suffer from Cerebral Palsy, Diabetes type 1 (juvenile diabetes), & Depression. I was born with Cerebral Palsy so I have been in a wheelchair all my life, & because I've had operations to try & make me walk, but they didn't work so now when it rains my left leg wants to click but can't so I end up having really bad leg pain. I was diagnosed with type one diabetes at the age of nine. When I was 21 my dad committed suicide at the age off 44 because he had depression & couldn't cope with it anymore. At the age of 21 I diagnosed myself with depression because most people with disabilities already have depression, let alone if half your family have it as well.

When my dad died in 1999 I started to run sites to help other disabled people understand their conditions a little bit better
